She doesn't see dead people, but…
She senses when someone near her is about to die. And when that happens, a force beyond her control compels her to scream bloody murder. Literally.
Kaylee just wants to enjoy having caught the attention of the hottest guy in school. But a normal date is hard to come by when Nash seems to know more about her need to scream than she does. And when classmates start dropping dead for no apparent reason, only Kaylee knows who'll be next…

I had this book sat on my bookshelf for a while before finally picking it up. After reading the first book in Rachel Vincent's adult urban fantasy series, Blood Bound, I instantly wanted to read her other series so I finally picked up this one.
I loved this book, I thought it was amazing. I always enjoy original storylines and I thought the storyline of this book is definitely original and not something I have read before. I loved that we got to see the characters grow a lot in this book.
Kaylee, I think she's a great character (duh, she shares my name ;p ) I thought you saw her grow a lot, she went from carefree teenager to a very strong lead character. We felt all her confusion and surprise as she slowly came to terms with her powers and discovered what she actually was. I was so surprised to find out what she actually is.
I love Nash, he's definitely the male character that I fell in love with in this series. I loved how sweet he was to Kaylee and really supported her throughout the entire book. Everything she was confused or upset about and he was there for her and when all the drama started to unfold not once did he think of leaving and letting her sort it out herself and I really loved that about him.
I really loved the story and the characters in this book and I can't wait to see what happens in this series.
I'll definitely be reading the rest of the series.
Yet another amazing story by Rachel Vincent.
