She's sworn off weddings…
After two failed relationships and six stints as a bridesmaid, Stephanie Ludlow is convinced she’s man-poison. So when her hormones point due south to her sexy—but not so charming—new landlord, she can't help the sparks that fly. It’s a good thing she’s declared a strict "no sex" policy, because Mike Brubaker might as well have “it’s not happening” tattooed across his delectable chest.
He's sworn off love…
Spurned single dad Mike has learned the hard way women are the source of all evil and should be avoided at any cost. And that definitely includes his gorgeous new tenant. But when they're thrown together in the wedding party from hell, both will stop at nothing to fight the heat building between them. Giving in is not an option for either of them.
May the best man—or woman—win.
"That was the woman I love, running out of my life."
Always A Bridesmaid is yet another book from Entangled's Indulgence line that I have fallen head over heels in love with. Another Entangled Romance that had me swooning and left me breathless.
Stephanie is sick of always being a bridesmaid but never a bride. She wants romance and love, but love doesn't always work out with her. But when she moves into a new house and she meets the gorgeous new landlord/roommate sparks fly. Afterall he's gorgous why wouldn't they? But Mike is sworn off love, after his failed marriage he is determined never to trust a woman again. Until he meets Stephanie. Could it be that two broken-hearted people just need each other to fix themselves and have a new chance at love?
I loved this book. I loved, loved, loved it. It's just incredible and I just wanna read it again. It was amazing and it had me swooning and as always refusing to stop reading until the characters got their act together and admitted their feelings for each other. Which was, surprise, surprise, right at the very end. I love these kinda books even though they irritate me to no end and I always know what's going to happen within the first chapter. Call me a hopeless romantic, a sucker for a love-story, whatever, I'm gonna agree with you I am definitely both of those things which is why I cannot stop reading these books. I love them all.
As always the characters in this book were amazing, though sometimes you kinda wanted to bang both their heads together and say "yea you've been hurt. So what? Open your eyes to what's in front of you!" Stephanie is an awesome heroine and I loved her. I loved her mixed emotions. She was falling for Mike but didn't want to be hurt, and the same goes for Mike. I loved their relationship and the scenes that they had together.
This is an incredible romance story that any fans of Entangled's other romance titles will love.
Amazing.
"He wasn't perfect, but then neither was she, and together they made a pretty good team. One strong enough to stand the test of all the challenges that lay ahead."
