Mockingjay (The Hunger Games #3)

Mockingjay - Suzanne Collins

Young Katniss Everdeen has survived the dreaded Hunger Games not once, but twice, but even now she can find no relief. In fact, the dangers seem to be escalating: President Snow has declared an all-out war on Katniss, her family, her friends, and all the oppressed people of District 12. The thrill-packed final installment of Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games trilogy will keep young hearts pounding.

This was such an amazing ending to the trilogy.

It was fast paced and amazing and I loved every moment reading it.
The war has started and Katniss takes her place as the Mockingjay, the face of the revolution.

This was so fast-paced I couldn't even come to terms with some of the horrid things that had happened before I was hooked to the next things happening. I didn't get quite so emotional with this book as I did with the others. I was in tears by the end of the book but it definitely wasn't as sad as I thought it was going to be.
I was so devastated part way through this book with what was happening with Peeta and I found myself just sat going "No, this can't happen. What have they done to him, he has to be with Katniss".
I really loved the ending and I was so happy with what happened.

I thought it was such a great ending to the series and The Hunger Games is my favourite series I have ever read. I was so happy with the ending but I am also so sad that it's ended and there won't be another book in the series for me to read.

It wasn't my favourite of the series but I loved every moment of it and ended up reading the whole thing in a day and a half.
